The Beverly Hills High School (BHHS) Academic Decathlon team has won first place in Division III at the California Academic Decathlon State Finals. In a thrilling display of knowledge and teamwork, the Beverly Hills High School (BHHS) Academic Decathlon team has clinched first place in Division III at the California Academic Decathlon State Finals. Held in the charming city of Santa Clara from March 20 to 23, this remarkable achievement puts the spotlight back on BHHS, as it marks the school’s highest placement in a decade, since 2013.
Facing off against a staggering 54 teams from all across California, the BHHS team stood out not only for their thorough preparation but also for their unwavering skill across a multitude of academic disciplines. The state finals are no small feat—students are tested in ten different subjects, take on both prepared and impromptu speeches, engage in challenging interviews, and participate in the exciting SuperQuiz.
