A crowd of 1,171 enthusiastic fans gathered to witness a thrilling high-scoring affair, but in the end, the Wolverines stumbled, losing 12-8 to the visitors.
The game started on a high note for Michigan as they scored a whopping five runs in the first inning! It all kicked off with a lead-off double by junior second baseman Indiana Langford. The Wolverines showed no signs of slowing down, as *junior third baseman Maddie Erickson* contributed a home run to the early scoring fest, helping Michigan establish a commanding lead.
