The Beverly Hills Spring Art Show will take place at Beverly Gardens Park on May 17 and 18, featuring 237 artists from around the world. Beverly Hills is set to host its annual Spring Art Show on May 17 and 18, welcoming thousands of art enthusiasts to Beverly Gardens Park. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, stretching across four blocks from Rodeo Drive to Rexford Drive.
This year, the Spring Art Show will feature 237 artists from around the globe, showcasing their creative works in ten distinct categories including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. Notably, this bi-annual celebration will also highlight the talents of 51 debut artists taking part in the exhibit for the first time.
The event not only emphasizes visual arts but also aims to foster community engagement. A designated Creative Zone will provide children with hands-on art-making activities, encouraging the younger generation to explore their creativity. Additionally, attendees can enjoy various art demonstrations covering techniques such as chalk art, watercolor, and traditional painting practices. These demonstrations will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Food lovers can indulge in a variety of options, as gourmet food trucks will be stationed throughout the park, serving a range of culinary delights. For adult visitors, a beer and wine garden will be available to provide refreshments while enjoying the ambiance of the art show.
This year marks a significant collaboration with the Los Angeles Printmaking Society, featuring four artists who will demonstrate their craft at their booth, adding diversity to the array of talents displayed. One of the highlights includes chalk artist Stacy Nalapraya, who will be demonstrating her skill near the food trucks, captivating audiences with her intricate chalk creations.
The Beverly Hills Art Show has roots dating over 50 years. What started as a modest arts and crafts fair has transformed into a grand exhibition attracting over 30,000 visitors every spring and fall. The event is well-loved by the community and acts as a platform for both emerging and established artists. This year, participants come from a variety of countries such as Ukraine, France, and Mexico, as well as representing 11 states across the U.S. Among the local talent, 45 artists hail from the Los Angeles area, with 24 artists based specifically in Beverly Hills.
