La Ola, a coastal Mexican restaurant, is set to make its debut at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on May 30. This new dining venue will offer guests both lunch and dinner options, situated in a sun-drenched poolside setting that promises a vibrant atmosphere for its patrons.
Under the leadership of Executive Chef Jesus Medina, La Ola will feature a menu inspired by his culinary background, drawing from his roots in Mexico as well as influences from family traditions in cooking. The restaurant will bring back dinner service to the Four Seasons rooftop, making it one of the few Four Seasons-operated Mexican restaurants in the United States.
The menu at La Ola showcases an array of authentic Mexican dishes highlighted by seasonal seafood and traditional flavors. Guests can look forward to dishes such as:
For larger meal options, guests can choose from dishes such as dry-aged fish of the day with chayote salad, duck carnitas, and pollo alla brasa with mole. Chef Medina brings over a decade of experience with the Four Seasons, having been a part of the organization since 2012. His culinary journey, influenced by his upbringing in Acuna, Mexico, allows him to create dishes inspired by family gatherings centered around food. His time in Punta Mita, an oceanfront city, has particularly shaped his appreciation for seasonal seafood.
At La Ola, Chef Medina aims to establish a warm, welcoming atmosphere for diners. The intent is to evoke familiar flavors for guests who have traveled to Mexico while also offering new experiences for those who have yet to visit. Diners may also be pleasantly surprised with complimentary treats throughout their meal, such as a sip of tepache or chocolates accompanied by chapulines to take home.
La Ola is located at 300 S. Doheny Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90048. Reservations can be conveniently made through the Four Seasons Hotel, ensuring a spot at this exciting new addition to the Los Angeles dining scene.
