Beverly Hills – In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic film Clueless, the L’Ermitage Beverly Hills hotel has unveiled the new Clueless Suite, a themed accommodation capturing the essence of the beloved movie. The suite is designed to immerse guests in the colorful world of Cher Horowitz, the film’s fashionable protagonist, and is available for booking from July 12 to September 1, 2025, with rates starting at $1,995 per night and a two-night minimum stay requirement.
The Clueless Suite spans 750 square feet and was created through a collaboration involving L’Ermitage, Paramount Pictures, costume designer Mona May, and interior designer Jordan Hackworth. It reflects the signature pastel colors and playful aesthetics that have made Clueless a cultural touchstone since its release in July 1995. The vibrant decor features a large bedroom adorned with pink bed linens and fluffy pillows, a spacious living area with a full-size couch, and a private balcony.
One significant design element includes a yellow plaid accent wall, a nod to Cher’s iconic school outfit. Visitors will also find a pink neon sign stating “Carpe diem! Okay?” as well as nostalgic touches such as fuzzy pens, pop art reminiscent of Roy Lichtenstein, and a Polaroid camera for capturing memories during their stay. To further enhance the experience, a walk-in closet serves as a gateway to Cher’s legendary fashion, featuring rotating clothing pieces curated from Bloomingdale’s with the assistance of Mona May and L’Ermitage stylists. Guests can personalize their fashion options by completing a pre-arrival style quiz, with the selections available for purchase via a QR code directly from the suite.
Bookings at the Clueless Suite include a $100 Bloomingdale’s gift card and a VIP in-store styling appointment, alongside a Dior Beauty glam session designed to elevate guests’ looks. Additionally, a unique feature of the stay is access to a white Jeep Wrangler, allowing guests to cruise around Beverly Hills, reminiscent of scenes from the film.
For those unable to secure a stay in the Clueless Suite, the hotel offers an alternative titled “The Cher’mitage Experience.” This package includes Clueless-themed turn-down treats, use of the Polaroid camera, access to movie streaming, and a complimentary sunset toast at the hotel’s new rooftop lounge, Poza, for an additional fee of $995 per night.
L’Ermitage Beverly Hills boasts a total of 116 suites, along with a spacious 4,450-square-foot spa, and features regular decor with plush Frette sheets and opulent furnishings that pay homage to Old Hollywood glamour. The unveiling of the Clueless Suite not only celebrates the film’s milestone but also highlights its lasting influence on fashion and pop culture.
The film Clueless, directed by Amy Heckerling, is widely regarded as a pivotal work that reshaped the portrayal of young women in comedies. Its fashion choices, particularly those of Cher, have inspired generations, with many modern celebrities drawing inspiration from her iconic looks, as noted by costume designer Mona May. The film’s enduring popularity and cultural relevance continue to resonate, making the launch of the Clueless Suite a fitting tribute to its legacy.
