Beverly Hills will host the third annual Festival Beverly Hills on July 20, from noon to 6 p.m. at Beverly Gardens Park. This year’s festival promises an exciting lineup featuring music, dance, interactive workshops, and culinary experiences that celebrate diverse cultures from around the globe.

The festival will spotlight Gaby Moreno, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter revered for her bilingual music that blends Latin, Blues, Folk, and Americana. Moreno earned recognition for her work at the Grammy Awards in 2024, making her a highlight of this year’s event.

Additionally, the festival will showcase other talented performers including the Versa-Style Dance Company, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and the Filharmonic, a popular Filipino-American a cappella group. The Korean Senior Community Center Los Angeles (KSCCLA) Harmonica Ensemble, known for their viral performances at LA Kings games, is also set to perform.

Beverly Hills Mayor Sharona Nazarian emphasized the festival’s mission as a joyful celebration of community and culture, focusing on connection, learning, and pride among residents and visitors alike.

Festival-goers can look forward to returning favorites such as the Farhang Foundation, Kooban Ensemble, and Chef Mojdeh Eghbal. Family-friendly activities are also planned, including storytelling sessions with Cold Tofu, the nation’s longest-running Asian-American improv troupe, and workshops for creating origami.

Children will have the chance to participate in dance classes led by Everybody Dance LA, while also experiencing the large-scale backpack puppets by LA Commons.

The festival will include contributions from the Consular Corps of Los Angeles, with representation from the Consulate of Trinidad and Tobago, the Italian Consulate, and the Senegalese Consulate. Luca Alemanno, an Italian bassist and jazz composer, is scheduled to perform interpretations of classic works by famed Italian movie composers.

Another noted performer will be Lala Tamar, a singer-songwriter who brings together Moroccan soul and Brazilian beats, representing the Jewish community indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa.

The festival’s diverse lineup continues with performances from Dansa Azteca, a traditional dance group; Naruwan Taiko, known for its high-energy drumming; the Qing Wei Lion & Dragon Dance Cultural Troupe; and the ZCC Brass Band.

As families gather for a day filled with cultural delight, the third annual Festival Beverly Hills aims to create an engaging atmosphere suitable for all ages. This festival stands as a reminder of the area’s commitment to celebrating its multicultural heritage.
