The season will feature a total of six diverse productions that encompass comedies, mysteries, and a historical drama that aims to captivate a wide audience.

The season kicks off with a West Coast premiere of “A Jukebox for the Algonquin” by Paul Stroili, running from July 24 to August 24, 2025. This play centers around the residents of Placid Pines Senior Care Center, who share a collective desire for a jukebox. It tackles significant themes related to aging while being described as a serious comedy focused on elements of sex, drugs, and rocking chairs. Notably, this play won the Wilde Award for Best New Play of 2023-24, setting an optimistic tone for the season.

Following this, the season continues with “All These Women” by Melanie MacQueen, which is set for its world premiere from September 18 to October 19, 2025. Set against the historical backdrop of 1913 and an impending World War, this play intricately portrays the struggles of women fighting for voting rights in America. This production is expected to resonate deeply with audiences given its timely subject matter.

The third installment, “An Inspector Calls” by J.B. Priestley, is scheduled from November 13 to December 14, 2025. The narrative revolves around a family entangled in the investigation surrounding a young girl’s tragic death. This production will peel back layers of deep-seated selfishness and cowardice among the family members, offering a critical look at morality and social responsibility.

As the new year approaches, the stage will welcome another world premiere with “What Opa Did” by Christopher Franciosa. This mystery, playing from January 15 to February 15, 2026, follows a woman on a quest to unveil her grandfather’s past during World War II, promising to engage audiences with its compelling storyline.

Following this intriguing tale, “The Unexpected Guest” by Agatha Christie will be featured from March 19 to April 19, 2026. In this gripping mystery, a stranger arrives at a house confronting a dead man and a wife who is left holding a smoking gun. As the plot unfolds, secrets will emerge, leading to a twist about the true murderer that is sure to keep audiences guessing.

Finally, the season will conclude with “Crossing Delancey” by Susan Sandler, slated for May 21 to June 21, 2026.
