This year, artists will present work across 10 different media, including sculpture, painting, photography, digital art, mixed media, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, glass, jewelry, and watercolor. In addition to the artwork displays, the event will feature live demonstrations showcasing various techniques such as oil and watercolor painting, jewelry design, and both two- and three-dimensional artwork.

Event-goers can also enjoy entertainment options, including a beer and wine garden complemented by relaxing music. A selection of food trucks will offer gourmet options, including Asian street food, alongside familiar favorites like Friendly Fruits, Itz No Cho Day, Serendoggity, and Wise BBQ.

Special Highlights and Activities

One of the standout activities will be the live chalk mural created by artist Stacy Nalapraya on Saturday using the Imandonnari technique, an Italian street painting style. On Sunday, mural artist Gloria Ing is also set to present her work. Additionally, Metro Art-commissioned artists Meleko Mokgosi, Devon Tsuno, Phung Huynh, and Oscar Magallanes will be at the show, sharing their contributions to future subway stations as part of the Metro D Line Subway Extension Project. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, including collage and portrait-making related to the artists’ designs for the upcoming stations.

First-time participant Andrew Max Modlin will present innovative work that bridges digital and organic worlds. Other features include the works of watercolorist Martino Dorce, who will showcase imagery inspired by his Caribbean heritage, and Emily Wallerstein, displaying oil paintings that merge concepts of industry and nature. Additionally, Tom Sweetser will exhibit new media-inspired landscapes, intertwining mid-century design elements with classic California imagery.
