Founded in 2011 by brothers Edoardo and Luigi Tonolli in São Paulo, Brazil, Bacio di Latte has rapidly grown, boasting over 200 locations across Brazil. As the company transitions into the U.S. market, it has plans to open 25 locations in California by the end of 2026. The Beverly Hills shop represents a key step in achieving that goal.

The flagship gelateria spans 1,400 square feet and features both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The design is inspired by a modern Italian country kitchen, which includes hand-glazed tile, custom wood millwork, and exposed wood beams. Unique touches like a rolling library ladder allow customers to see a variety of kitchen tools displayed on elevated shelving, enhancing the artisanal theme of the location.

At Bacio di Latte, all gelato flavors are crafted fresh on-site each day, utilizing high-quality ingredients sourced globally and locally. Key ingredients include organic milk and cream from Clover Farms in Sonoma County, hazelnuts from Piedmont, pistachios from Southern Italy, cane sugar from Paraguay, and seasonal fruits from family-run farms in California. This dedication to quality reflects the brand’s commitment to providing an authentic Italian gelato experience.

The gelateria features a diverse menu that offers more than 22 options of gelato daily. Best-selling flavors include Pistacchio, Giandujotto, Cioccolato Belga, and Nutellina. Seasonal flavors such as Buttercream Pretzel are also available, providing customers with a rotating selection that highlights the brand’s creative offerings.

Bacio di Latte puts a unique spin on gelato presentations with its “Ciocchino” creations, which feature waffle cones, bowls, and cups coated with a luscious blend of Hazelnut and Pistachio spreads. Additionally, the in-store Affogato Bar allows customers to combine gelato with rich espresso, available in creative pairings like Crema & Biscotti and Pistacchio.

The gelateria also offers a full espresso bar, featuring a range of signature drinks, including the Sweet Bacio Latte and Matcha Pistachio Latte, ensuring that coffee lovers find something to enjoy alongside the gelato.

To enhance the customer experience, the Beverly Hills location features curated music playlists that vary throughout the day. From morning jazz to afternoon bossa nova, and transitioning to evening tango electronica, the musical atmosphere complements the inviting gelateria ambiance.
