News Summary

One Beverly Hills is set to open in 2028, featuring 200,000 square feet of retail and dining space. This development includes renowned restaurants Casa Tua Cucina and Los Mochis, enhancing luxury experiences with a botanical garden and high-end retail options. The project marks a significant investment in Beverly Hills, promising a transformed shopping and dining atmosphere.

Beverly Hills is set to welcome a major new retail and dining destination, One Beverly Hills, expected to open its doors in 2028. This ambitious project is spearheaded by Cain International and will encompass 200,000 square feet of space, housing 45 restaurants and retail businesses in total. Construction commenced in February 2024, marking the beginning of a $10 billion investment at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Merv Griffin Way, and the Los Angeles Country Club.

Among the highlights of this new property are the anticipated openings of two renowned restaurants, Casa Tua Cucina and Los Mochis, which will be debuting in Los Angeles. Casa Tua Cucina is an upscale Italian dining establishment that originated in Miami in 2001 and has since branched out to major cities including New York and Paris. This location will span 20,000 square feet and feature a marketplace where visitors can purchase various Italian specialties as well as a menu rich in antipasti and traditional pastas.

Los Mochis, known for its unique Mexican-Japanese fusion cuisine, is originally based in London. This Beverly Hills outpost will cover 12,000 square feet and offer both a private dining room and a 2,000-square-foot garden, providing a vibrant dining atmosphere. Additionally, Los Mochis will introduce an exclusive omakase experience called Tuna Ten Rei, located at a hidden counter within the restaurant.

Beyond these dining experiences, the development will enhance the Beverly Hills landscape with various luxurious amenities. This includes a retail outlet for Dolce & Gabbana and an Aman all-suite hotel that will be paired with two residential towers. An integral feature of the project will be a meticulously designed 10-acre public and private botanical garden created by Rios, which aims to seamlessly connect the Beverly Hilton and the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.

The emergence of Casa Tua and Los Mochis at One Beverly Hills indicates a growing trend of revitalizing the shopping mall dining experience. Recent developments in the area, such as Westfield Century City, which recently introduced Casa Dani, a Spanish restaurant, and David Chang’s Super Peach restaurant, highlight this shift towards sophisticated dining options within retail environments.

With the official location listed as 9900 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, the opening of One Beverly Hills is eagerly anticipated as it aims to elevate the dining and shopping experience for residents and visitors alike in a locale renowned for luxury and style.
